Mike Hollis’ Solution To A Better Quality Of Life
Mike Hollis was the original placekicker for the Jacksonville Jaguars from 1995 to 2001. He later played for the Buffalo Bills and the New York Giants.
About six years after retiring from football, Mike hit a low point. He lost motivation to work out, felt bored with traditional gym routines, and no longer felt the excitement he once had for training.
He was 20 to 30 pounds overweight and needed something challenging, motivating, and enjoyable enough to help him make a real change.
Why Boxing Worked
- It was challenging without being boring
- It gave Mike renewed motivation
- It helped him commit to getting back in shape
- It provided a structured, high-energy workout
- It became something he actually looked forward to
